This Stryfe toy was added on August 2017 and originally released in 2014 with a retail price of $19.99. This action figure is part of the Marvel genre within the Marvel Legends series and included in Wave 1. It can be found online by using the following codes: UPC: 630509242566, Amazon ASIN: B00KR5U116 (#ad), and on eBay (#ad). It is part of the Jubilee Build A Figure collection and includes the Head to complete the Jubilee BAF which includes 6 action figures. Hundreds of collectors have this toy (174) in their user collections, so it does seem to be very popular.

Stryfe, the character this action figure is based on, is a clone of the X-Men member Cable, created by the villainous Mister Sinister. He is a powerful mutant with telepathic and telekinetic abilities, and is often depicted as a major antagonist in the X-Men series. The action figure captures Stryfe's distinctive look, complete with his futuristic armor and helmet.

The Stryfe action figure comes with several accessories, including a part of the Jubilee Build A Figure. Collectors can assemble this figure by collecting other action figures in the series, each of which comes with a different part.

Stryfe (Marvel Legends) Review by combosactionfigure.blogspot.com review sentiment mixed

Stryfe's design in the Marvel Legends X-Men Jubilee Build-A-Figure Wave is a mix of humor and uniqueness. His miniature "toothpick" sword and awkward-looking chest armor make for comedic elements while his powerful physique and knight-like additions give him an intimidating presence. The series also includes Cyclops, Storm, Magneto, and the Unmasked Wolverine, but Stryfe stands out despite his oddly sculpted armor that comes off nipple-esque. The armor comes in two types of grey - ash and gunmetal - a combined look that leaves the figure looking stellar and shiny. The one accessory, his sword, could have been better refined and lacks paintwork. Articulation is decent but limited by the armor's bulk in places like the shoulders. I see some great potential in this figurine, but there are a few areas where improvement could be made. They could enhance specific details with an additional layer of paint and do a better job with some of the sculpting. This rendition of Stryfe will be a good addition to an X-Men villain collection, even if it's not quite perfect. So, in conclusion, there are things I love about Stryfe, and other aspects I wish Hasbro had refined a bit more.

Hasbro- X-Men Legends Infinite Stryfe by thefwoosh.com review sentiment positive

I wasn't particularly excited about purchasing figures in the X-Men Legends Wave. Many of the character figures, like the new costume Cyclops, Jubilee in any form, and others just didn't top my priority list. Surprisingly, I came to appreciate each of them, especially the Stryfe figure.

The Stryfe figure stands out with its distinct new sculpt, reusing only a bit from Sabretooth, such as the torso, crotch, hips, upper calf, and possibly the feet. The upper gloves are simply overlays. The head design is an attractive 90s-style.

Minimal paint has been used on this figure, with most pieces crafted in their inherent colors. The silver armor stands out more like plastic, and the boots have an engaging sheen. The figure comes with a sword and pieces of the Build-A-Figure (BAF) Jubilee.

What sets Stryfe apart is its large and domineering size. With the added armor and cape, it appears quite a dangerous figure. I might not have initially been intrigued by the Stryfe figure, but it certainly made a lasting impression. I appreciate the excitement of the hobby that reveals hidden gems.
