    40,000 years ago, the glory of Cobra-La dominated the planet. Ruled by a bio-mechanical creature named Golobulus, it was a world of colonies based solely on living _organisms and hyper-genetic manipulation.. Until an age of ice destroyed them. With it began the era of the barbarians. The human race evolved and gradually maslered a lechnology based on in. organic, lileless suistances. Their culture was a travesty of Cobra-La's noble ways, and a threat to their very existence. Remnants of Cobra-La retreated to a dark, glacial ice dome deep within the Asian Himalayas to preserve their ways and await an opportunity to reclaim the earth.

    40,000 years later, Golobulus still rules with the aid of the Nemesis Enforcer, a sinister, winged evil who tirelessly carries out the dark will of his master and creator. The Royal Guards, bred and surgically enhanced for size, strength and endurance further serve and protect the mighty Golobulus.

    Golobulus has chosen this time to go out into the world and destroy the human civilization which drove him and Cobra-La into exile.
