    DOJO developed superior martial arts skills while stationed in Okinawa, and later became the secret pupil of a Ninja master in hiding. He was taught how to utilize secret combat techniques using chain and sickle, three section staff, sai, and throwing dirk. STORM SHADOW was so impressed with his unbeatable skills and immutable integrity, that he persuaded him to join the G.I. JOE team as part of their covert Ninja Force unit.

    DOJO is the most garrulous of the Ninja commandos, and is often referred to as "the talkative one." He believes that a steady patter disrupts the thoughts of his opponents, setting them up for his surprise "Lightning Strike" maneuver. He can often be seen practicing new forms
    of offensive and defensive silent weapon techniques with T'JBANG.
