Released in 2018, this figure is a Walmart exclusively and is essentially a re-release of the 2016/2017 build-a-figure. Having build-a-figure sets reissued as single-carded figures is appreciated as it provides an avenue to pick up figures might have missed in the past. The Thanos figure comes with a new color scheme, not a mere reproduction of the original, keeping the value of the original figures intact whilst adding a fresh perspective.
This Thanos figure comes in standard Marvel Legends packaging, with interesting Infinity War Infinity Gauntlet artwork and a cool promo photo on the package. The package is easy to open, revealing an alternate head sculpt and matching hand inside. Details of the figure includes the metallic sheen on the blue parts, silver highlights and some glossy metallic colors on the boots.
Colby adds, the figure may look a little bit smaller compared to on-screen counterparts, but it still holds up in appearance. The figure retails for about $20 but could be found at a higher price at secondary markets.
