Tombstone, whose real name is Lonnie Lincoln, is a character from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in "Web of Spider-Man" #36 in 1988.
Tombstone is a tall, bald, albino man with filed teeth, giving him a vampire-like appearance. He is known for his physical strength, endurance, and resilience to injury. Tombstone is a formidable hand-to-hand combatant and has been involved in organized crime, often working as a hitman or enforcer.
His backstory involves growing up in Harlem, New York, and he became a bully and a criminal from a young age. He and Robbie Robertson, a future employee at the Daily Bugle, attended the same school, where Tombstone would often bully Robertson. As adults, their paths crossed again when Robertson, now a journalist, witnessed Tombstone commit a murder. Tombstone then attempted to intimidate Robertson to prevent him from testifying. Over the years, Tombstone has been both an enemy and, on rare occasions, an ally to Spider-Man.
