Created by writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino, Gorilla Grodd first appeared in "The Flash" #106 in 1959.
Grodd is an intelligent and telepathic gorilla with psionic and mind control abilities. He hails from the fictional African city of Gorilla City, a hidden city of hyper-intelligent gorillas. Grodd possesses superhuman strength, enhanced agility, and a genius-level intellect. His telepathic powers allow him to control the minds of others, making him a formidable adversary for The Flash and other heroes.
Gorilla Grodd has been a recurring foe in The Flash comics and has appeared in various animated TV series, video games, and other media adaptations. He is often portrayed as a complex and powerful antagonist, driven by a desire for power and domination.-
