DC DC Universe Classics Metamorpho, the Element Man (Collect & Connect)
  • DC DC Universe Classics Metamorpho, the Element Man (Collect & Connect)

Metamorpho first appeared in "The Brave and the Bold" #57 in 1965. His alter ego is Rex Mason, a former adventurer and soldier of fortune.

Rex Mason is transformed into Metamorpho after an encounter with an ancient meteorite in Egypt. The meteorite's radiation gives him the ability to shape-shift and transform his body into various elemental forms, allowing him to control and manipulate the elements, such as turning his limbs into stone, transforming into a gaseous state, or becoming a liquid. The transformation is often involuntary and triggered by different circumstances.

Metamorpho's appearance is distinctive, with his multi-colored, malleable body reflecting his elemental powers. He has been a member of various superhero teams, including the Outsiders, and he has appeared in different DC Comics storylines over the years. Metamorpho is known for his unique powers and his often humorous and lighthearted approach to superheroics.
