Thomas, being a big fan of the Commander Bly color schemes, is excited to see a Black Series figure of this character. This Commander Bly (Phase II) action figure comes with a blaster rifle and two black blaster pistols.

He only wishes that the figure included a face sculpt. The paintwork on the Commander Bly figure is exceptionally realistic. The creators have added brown marks and a hint of weathering to the otherwise yellow-mustard color, mainly concentrating on the feet.

The figure comes with 23 points of articulation, including a movable visor, and a single-colored soft goods kama. The commander also suspects that Hasbro will soon update its clone sculpt to include the extra two points of articulations seen in other figures.

Galactic Man Larry presents another review of a Star Wars Black Series figure – the Clone Commander Bly. This action figure has been around for about two years, and it is beautifully designed with well-illustrated packaging art. The figure is highly detailed, featuring a lot of weathering effects and two blasters.

However, there were some quality control issues encountered with this figure. Out of the box, the knees, lower legs and feet were misplaced and required some serious modifications, which unfortunately included a peg snapping. Despite these setbacks, the figure still maintains decent articulation and its visual appeal is not significantly decreased.

The figure is based on the Captain Rex body, so it's one of the better clone figures. The Clone Commander Bly figure stands impressively next to other action figures like the Clone Commando Fixer, Dark Trooper Clone Commander Gree and others.
