In Star Wars: A New Hope, one of the many nefarious denizens of Chalmun's Cantina on Tatooine was the Aqualish pirate Ponda Baba. With his partner-in-crime Dr. Evazan at his side, the black-eyed, tusk-bearing thug picked a fight with fellow patron Luke Skywalker-
a fight that was finished by wizened Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. After a quick, flashing swing of Kenobi's lightsaber, a shocked and squealing Baba found himself missing an arm.
