Micro Galaxy Squadron – Sabine Wren’s TIE Fighter Review by www.villavarykino.com
The nostalgic design from Rebels is iconic and the black and white checkerboard print embodies a fun, racing car aesthetic.
The paint job is impressively accurate for the scale of the vehicle and it harmonizes seamlessly with other painted vehicles in the Micro Galaxy Squadron range. Sabine’s custom paint scheme is exclusively on the inner wing panels, cockpit and arms, with the outer wing surfaces keeping the standard TIE Fighter black and grey.
In terms of functionality, the vehicle features a push-button panel which raises the inner seat section for ease when placing or removing a figure. The back of the cockpit is also fully painted and there is a hinged section at the back that can be folded down. The included Sabine Wren figure, although small, is well-detailed with multiple color applications and articulation at the shoulders and hips for posing.

the Tie Fighter. It's part of an exclusive chase edition with a production of 5,000 units. We see the box presentation, featuring detailed graphics of Sabine and the Tie Fighter, lists of features, and even previews of other ships in the light armor class collection. The packaging varies depending on the item, emphasizing the uniqueness of each figure. Inside, you'll find Sabine Wren encased in a sturdy blister pack and a mini figurine.
Showcasing the figurine, it’s clear that the painting and sculpting work is remarkable, with colors featured on her helmet, elbow pads, boots, and knee pads. Despite being only an inch tall, the detailing is impressively accurate. The Tie Fighter itself is equally impressive, featuring a striking paint job, removable wings, and even a miniature display stand.
As Kevin examines various other aspects of the miniature, he consistently praises its detailing and beautiful paint applications as what sets it apart from all others. Excited to have this edition included in their collection, he invites viewers to join them in further discussion over at the Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron page.
